Black Dragon Tools to be Associate Sponsor for Leavine Family Racing

BLACK DRAGON TOOLS TO BE ASSOCIATE SPONSOR FOR LEAVINE FAMILY RACING

CONCORD, N.C. (February 3, 2014)

Leavine Family Racing (LFR) is proud to announce a one-year partnership with Black Dragon Tools as a full-season associate sponsor of the No. 95 Ford driven by Michael McDowell in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

Setting a new standard for automotive tools, Black Dragon Tools is sought out by professional mechanics and technicians around the globe.

Under the new partnership, Black Dragon Tools has already outfitted Leavine Family Racing’s garage and pit box with their latest tools. The Concord, N.C.-based team will also use the company’s electronic testers as well as other various hand tools at the team facilities and trackside.

“Black Dragon Tools will have a direct and positive impact on Leavine Family Racing,” Jeremy Lange, vice president of marketing and partnerships at Leavine Family Racing said. “This is the kind of partner that is helping us to be a better team and to compete on and off the track.”

The partnership will kick off at Daytona International Speedway in February of 2014 when the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series opens the season with the 2.5-mile tri-oval.

Leavine Family Facing partners with Black Dragon Tools

LEAVINE FAMILY RACING PARTNERS WITH BLACK DRAGON TOOLS

Black Dragon Tools is proud to announce its partnership with Leavine Family Racing (NASCAR #95) for the 2014 racing season! Leavine Family Racing is poised for a breakout season, with many seasoned industry veterans, including Crew Chief Wally Rogers, back for the upcoming season...And, they have a new driver starting at this year’s Daytona 500, Racing Superstar Michael McDowell!

Race Fans all know Michael! His racing career began when he was just three years old. He won his first World Championship in professional racing at the tender age of eight (is that correct? Professional racing at that age?), by winning the World Karting Association (WKA) Championship! He won back-to-back championships with the International Karting Federation (IKF), and then on to Grand-AM and Star Mazda Championships! In 2007, he was Rookie of the Year with the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) series with nine pole positions and four victories. He then moved up to NASCAR with Waltrip Racing and has driven in the Camping World Truck Series and Sprint Cup Series.
